About the Seminar

Our four-hour seminar is conducted by licensed mental health professionals. The seminar is offered by Children of Divorce, Inc.

Both parties involved in the action are REQUIRED to attend the seminar within thirty (30) days of the Court Order being served upon the Respondent/Defendant.

Seminar Topics Include:

• the developmental stages of childhood
• the needs of children at different ages
• age appropriate expectations of children
• stress indicators in children
• divorce as a growth stage
• the grief process
• reducing stress through a "good divorce"
• changing parental and marital roles
• financial obligations of child rearing
• conflict management / dispute resolution
• visitation recommendations to enhance the child's relationship with both parents

PLEASE NOTE:

• All Children of Divorce classes are 4 hours in length.
• Photo ID is REQUIRED for entry on the date of your seminar.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early. Credit will not be given for late arrivals.  Late arrivals will NOT BE ALLOWED entry into the seminar. 
• Please do not bring your children to class. Child care is not provided.
• Civil Action/Case # is not required for pre-registration but you are encouraged to bring the number to class to ensure quick delivery of your certificate to the clerk in the county where your action is filed. 
• Participants will receive individual Certificates of Completion after attending the program
• The fee for each participant is $45.00. Pre-registration is encouraged.

• You may Reserve a spot in one of our seminars online or by phone and pay "at the door" with CASH or MONEY ORDER only.  Checks and credit cards are not accepted at the seminar.
